So September is over and time to say thanks but goodbye to Karen aka (lindse) She was so much fun to have around and brought amazing talent and creativity to our team. We will miss her and decided to do a farewell interview. Here are some little tidbits about Karen.

*How long have you been scrapbooking?*
I started paperscrapbooking about 1.5 years ago, but I went digi May of this year on National Scrap Day.

*What program do you use?*
I use Photoshop CS2. We have a passionate relationship and have known eachother for about 10 years. Her name is Chloe

*Favorite Dani Kit? *
Without a doubt “Old School” ! I think I have used it on 5-6 LO in just one month! Never done that before Before Old School it was Quiet Comfort in the This Love collection. I adore the whole collection!

*Favorite Subject to scrap? *
Have you seen my layouts? LOL! My favorite subject is most definetly my beautiful babyson, Asbjoern. He is 8 months now and I can´t believe he has grown so much – so I love to scrap photos of him to see how much he has changed since he was born

I was so excited when I read the PM from Dani and could not believe my luck! Not only is Dani my all time favorite designer, but I also have huge amounts of respect for the other girls on the CT! So I was thrilled and did a happy dance in the living room *Was there anything you learned about yourself or someone else while
being a Guest CT?*

Okay, so I was soo proud of my swapping posts last week- got them done in record time, all my links worked, life was good, right? Except I missed a LO that was supposed to be posted! Whoops! So, today we have a special post for our very own Christel!

Christel got a way cute pic from Tania, and then meandered through Janet’s gallery to find a LO to scraplift (and there are LOTS of options there!). She settled on this LO, and got right to work! (Only to have me forget to post… can you tell I am having guilt over this??)

I love the photo here, and that tilted brush frame is just fabulous! What a fun and unique touch! So, I am quite sure that Tania loved her scraplifted swapped LO, and I am awfully glad that it is (finally) getting shared with all of you!

We are one day early, but just in case you have big plans on Sat. here you go. In honor of your birthday Dani a few of us decided to scraplift you. So we hope you enjoy because we did!!!

Okay, you know how I said I would have two more LOs for you this morning? Well, I lied. I have FOUR! Yep, double the goodness:) No more chatting, though, we have FOUR LOs to get through- let’s go!

Jenn had a photo from me, and was scraplifting Vanessa (man, there is a gallery where it would be hard to just pick one!)… she snooped around and found this LO, which is kind of funny, ’cause it was a scraplift of a scraplift! LOL! Jenn put her scrapping hat on and came up with this!

I really love this- the detail Jenn always puts into her LOs is astounding. I could look at them for hours! I would love to link ya to the kit that she used here, but Dani has already retired it! If you have not been over to the store recently, you’d better run, ’cause there is all sorts of fun going on! (right now embellishments are a DOLLAR! Unheard of!)

Next up is me! I was swapping with Vanessa, so I got this darling shot and then got to scraplift Jenn- so hard to choose! I eventually settled on this LO, and got right to work!

I used Dani’s Cabana Boy (my favorite kit EVER- from any designer! Get it here and her little words here…which are $1 right now- go get them, too!) I also added the stamped alpha from the This Love CD:)

Janet was swapping photos with Christel and lifting Tania… she got a super fun photo to work with and lifted this LO, with fab results!

I love all the bright colors on this- the weather around here has been cloudy and raining, so it was fun to have a bright LO! Janet used Dani’s fun new Maddy’s Smile kit (here) as well as a few other kits… leave us a comment if you are wondering about a paper or element, and we will let you know for sure!

And our FOURTH LO of the day comes from Genevieve! She was swapping with Karen, recieving a darling pic of her son, then scraplifting Jacque (here…)

I always love Tania to get some girl photos, ’cause the girl just has a way with pink… and with her boys it is hard to sneak into a LO! So I was so excited to see her LO… wait, you have to read the rest of my lead-up before you can go look at it! Okay, Tania was swapping with Janet, so she sent over a cutie-patootie photo of her and her daughter, Alaina. She was also scraplifting Christel, so she cruised through her gallery and chose this LO to scraplift… and the result? Check it out!

I know! So cute! I love the darker pink border, and the sooo creative use of flowers (regular and ribbon), just darling!

I love this next one, too, but you have to READ about it before you get to look. No peeking! LOL! Okay, Karen got a VERY fun pic from Jacque (who, by the way, always has the best photos… I think perhaps she has a photographic eye so she can take pics all the time! And a stinkin’ cute family doesn’t hurt, either… LOL!) Anway, she then cruised through Genevieive’s gallery and found loads of inspiration, finally choosing this LO, and look at the fun that she had with it!

I LOVE the selective coloration on this photo, and the whole LO just screams FUN! Those tabbed ribbons in Dani’s Old School kit were sooo perfect for this!

Okay, in trying to keep this blog a reader-friendly place, rather than a PhD dissertation, I am trying something new today! I am going to highlight two LOs, and just tell you who sent them the pic and who they scraplifted, rather than making you keep up with the flow of the trios. Mmmmkaaaaay?? Let’s go!

First up, Jacque… she got a very cute shot of the absolutely darling Mia from Genevieve, and then scraplifted our guest member, Karen (lindse), find Karen’s original LO here.

And look at this cutie that she came up with! I love the colors, and the fun take on Karen’s original LO. Jacque used Maddy’s Smile for the bulk of this LO (find it here), then added the scalloped border from Dani’s Hide and Seek (find it here), as well as a few other things…. Fun, huh?

Next up is Vanessa, working with a super cute pic of Jenn’s boys (totally off topic, but are they NOT the cutest things you have ever seen? I just wanna squeeze ‘em!), and then scraplifted the uber talented… Robin! LOL! Eek, just the thought of someone like VANESSA scraplifting little ‘ole me is enough to make a person start to sweat… okay, back to the subject at hand! LOL! So, she went a wandering in my gallery and chose this LO to scraplift, and here is what she came up with!

So cute, huh? I love the bright paint she chose, and the stapled ribbons are perfection (might have to go add them to the original!)

Hello all! I’mmmmm baaaaack, which means we are swapping, baby! I took it upon myself to thoroughly confuse everyone with my swap conditions this month, so hopefully I will be more clear when explaining them to you! LOL! We’ll see…

I wanted to do a scraplift swap ’cause we are surrounded by such amazing talent on this team… what better inspiration that each other? Anyway… I figured we couldn’t just do partners, because then if we were scraplifting the other partner, with their photo, it would be just like recreating a LO they already had! LOL! So I decided to to trios… so the first swapper would send a photo to the second swapper, and then scraplift a LO by the third. Confused yet? Don’t worrry, so was everyone else! Anyway, cut to the chase, we are scraplifting and swapping all in one fabulous combo!

Our first trio was even more tricky, because I somehow managed to get both of our Amandas in the same group! Eeek! Whoops… but they got it all figured out and created some fab LOs in the process. Here we go!

Okay, so first up is Dani (so fun to have her this month.. what treat!) She scraplifted Amanda (aggiefamily) with a picture from Amanda (amandagale)… keep up now! LOL! She chose to scraplift this this LO by Amanda, an excellent choice if I do say so myself… then used her Sunny Sorbet Kit and her Label It Labels on this darling LO for Amanda…

Cuteness abounds!

Okay, so if you are keeping up (and who am I kidding, even I am confused at this point), you know that Dani was sending a photo to Amanda (aggiefamily), so she was the lucky one who got to scrap the adorable Lexi… She scraplifted amandagale’s darling LO (here) and created this masterpiece:
