It’s party time!!! Â And we are so ready to celebrate:

Deanna put together the oh-so-adorable ad and we are good to go! Â Even my hunny is getting in on the fun.

Here he is showing off the freebie for today – a fun party garland that can be used for any occasion that requires a colorful par-tay feel. Â

It is created using Dani’s Party Animal kit:

Each garland triangle is on a separate 4×6 background, ready to print or upload to your favorite photo site. Â If you prefer a more proper spelling – just leave out the hyphen and extra a. Â :) Â
To create the garland I printed out the triangles and then glued them to a cracker box (any sturdy cardboard will do. Â ;)). Â

After cutting them out I put eyelets in each of the top corners using my Crop-a-Dile and threaded some yummy green rick-rack through. Â I spaced the letters out evenly, tied a few ribbons on each end and it was ready.
I could have ended there – but here’s where the magic comes in. Â Every good par-tay needs some magic. Â
When the time is right, this fun-lovin’ garland can be kicked up a notch and turned into a fun party game. Â Growing up, one of my older sisters loved to do ring tosses in her room. Â She would tie a long string across the length of her room and then clip on packs of gum, bookmarks, stickers and any small prize that would fit in a clothespin. Â We would then take canning jar rings and try to hook one of the clothespins. Â If we accomplished the task – whatever was clipped on to the one we captured was ours to keep. Â Such good memories and simple fun. Â Here’s the adaption I did:

You can barely make out the par-tay, but doesn’t it just scream party?  To make this nice and easy I clipped on some colorful candy and utilized creations that Dani had already made.  When she made this gorgeous kit, she also came up with a Birthday Party in a Box.  Brilliant!

Here are the pieces of the Birthday Party in a Box that I used for the ring toss game:

How perfect are these? Â The notecards, cupcake picks, candy tents and pillowbox purses are so adorable and ready to print. Â I resized them to fit on the clothesline better and filled the candy tents and purse with candy. Â I also used some blank invitations by Dani (included in the Birthday Party in a Box) to write up some other types of prizes. Â These are just a few of the ones that my children love.
And here’s a close-up of a few of the more intricate pieces. Â Fun!

I also used some of the pages from the brag book to write up more prizes. Â

That is just one more way to use the adorable brag book designed by Roanna Ruhlow: Â

For a limited time (through the end of the month) the brag book comes free with the purchase of the Party Animal kit or the Bundle Pack at Sweet Shoppe Designs.
Here’s one more peek at the garland, a little closer up:

Please download the garland here, if you would like. Â Enjoy! Â And come back soon for more celebratory posts as we celebrate Design by Dani’s birthday!
