Countdown to Christmas – Day 5
Merry Christmastime!
  I know quite a few people who are working on December Daily albums (inspired by the lovely Ali Edwards). Now, many make the album ahead of time and just add the photos as the days go by.  A lovely plan, but mine is going to work a little differently this year.  I have taken my photos on the appropriate days, but the actual putting together of the album will be a fun activity for those magical days between Christmas and New Years.  I adore all the excitement that builds up to Christmas, but I also treasure those quiet days that follow.  The children are occupied with their numerous new books, toys and movies.  I also have a little time to play.
  My album is going to be built out of many shapes and materials, the base of each piece being around 4×6 inch size.  Some pages will be hybrid, some completely digital, some fabric, little bits of wrapping paper, snowflakes made from shiny mint chocolate candy wrappers – oh yes, this will be one yummy album!  Feel free to use today’s download and join me.  These are all sized close to 4×6 inches for easy printing.  You can use these to start an album telling the story of your December, tell the stories behind your Christmas ornaments, or make a fun recipe book of holiday treats.  You can also use these little pretties as gift tags, sweet notes for loved ones or anything else you can think up.
  These are made with Dani’s Mistletoe Magic kit.  The font on the preview above is Pea Bev.Â
  I also used lots of Dani’s shapes from her “Scrapper’s Toolbox”:  “Bracket Craze”, “Shape Up!”, “Creative Crops 2″, and “Say It!”.  Bracket Craze is so much fun and just perfect for mini-albums and layouts.
  There are two folders in the download.  One is the “quick page” version – mostly decorated and ready to add photos and journaling.  The other has the templates so you can change it up even more.  Download here or by clicking on the preview at the top.
